I am currently working on the second draft of my debut novel, Fetters of Fate. It is the first instalment in a series that will tell the stories of King Haraldr Bluetooth and the fabled Jomsvikings. These were bold times, packed with a healthy amount of treachery, silver-lust and bloodshed, as is befitting of the viking age.

The story is told through the eyes of a man called Sigbjǫrn, who is on a desperate quest to reunite with his love. Sigbjǫrn is a thrall who commits a heinous crime, which forces him into a life of outlawry. With a flair for feeding ravens and a fire in his heart, it is not long before Sigbjǫrn’s true calling as a warrior is realised. He is certainly a character with a wide perspective of life in the viking age, and is a joy to write about.
